The Medical Scheduling Specialist performs a variety of tasks as it is the first contact via telephone by the prospective patient with the clinic.
Essential duties include providing excellent customer/patient services via telephone and in person.
The scheduler provides a crucial link between the patient and the care delivered by the clinical staff.
The scheduler must work collaboratively with all clinical staff in support of patient services.
Must be detail-oriented with good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Medical office experience is preferred.
